Designer, art director, lecturer, publisher, entrepreneur, Giorgio Biscaro is recognised as one of the most eclectic personalities on the Italian design scene.

After a two-year experience as a technical designer, Enio Catalano completed his education in Florence, where he graduated in 2013.

The glass does not allow itself to be contained, it protrudes, it stretches and moves away from the metal cage; it moves in space and approaches where it feels protected. The material seeks its course, its evolution, its form. Contact and distance are the physical, spontaneous laws of these luminous forms; metal that constrains and glass that extends... signs of memory and history...

The frame of a moment, a fixed movement, the circles of the metal cage slip, fall and the blown glass holds them up in mid-air. An apparently random texture is the result of a precise geometry. A shape that leaves room for the imagination as when clouds always suggest new visions.

The metal filaments do not govern the shape of the glass here, they deviate by becoming large lampshades that influence the projection of the shadow in space.

Born in 1966, the creator of Siru has designed the historical collections produced by the company over the years.
