Odo Fioravanti

Odo Fioravanti studied Industrial Design at the Design Department of the Politecnico di Milano. Since 2003, he has worked as an industrial designer, also experimenting with graphics and exhibition design. His projects have received prestigious design awards. He has taught in many design schools and academies: Politecnico di Milano, IUAV Venezia, Domus Academy, Istituto Marangoni, NABA, SPD Scuola Politecnica di Design, TESTA Genève. His objects have been shown in many international exhibitions. In 2010, the Design Museum of the Milan Triennale hosted his solo exhibition ‘Industrious Design’ . In 2011 he won the XXII ADI Compasso d'Oro Award with the wooden chair Frida by Pedrali. He also works as a freelance journalist for design magazines that seek to explore and change the boundaries of design as a discipline.
