Francesca Smiraglia

With a degree in industrial design from Milan Polytechnic, Francesca Smiraglia specialises in lighting design. Constantly in search of stimuli with which to enrich her design baggage, she makes design thinking the tool with which to discover and investigate the matter ‘light’. Active as a lighting and product designer in the retail and hospitality sectors, she is interested in the various functional and relational possibilities inherent in objects, while exploring their conceptual and anthropological spheres. Her collaborations include Modoluce, Karboxx, Formagenda and Forma Lighting.
