The name of this stately pendant is derived from the activities of American pioneers who, at the dawn of the 19th century, traced the first trails connecting East to West, crossing the central area of the United States and settling in what is now Portland, Oregon's most populous and largest city.
those "grooves" are echoed in Portland by the precise rigadin moulding of the glass, giving shape to an elegant lamp suitable for enhancing any space with its compound volume and striking vertical refractions.

Like the mollusc historically found in the lagoon, this lamp with modern lines possesses a marked mimetic capacity, blending its features into its surroundings. Forged by blowing glass inside ancient moulds that are no longer in use, the master glassmaker obtains an irregular linear shape similar to the conformation of the marine animal.
very modern in its smooth olive green colour, it reaches the apex of luminosity in the milk glass version obtained with the balotton technique.
